Welcome to AlmaTica. By making a reservation or contracting any of our services, the client accepts these Terms and Conditions. We recommend reading this information carefully before confirming any contract. Our goal is to offer safe, comfortable and personalized experiences for national and international travelers.
RESERVATION POLICIES
Reservations can be made through:
-Official website.
-WhatsApp.
-Email.
-Official social media channels.
A reservation will be considered confirmed only when:
-The client receives official confirmation from AlmaTica.
-The corresponding payment has been made according to the agreed terms.
AlmaTica reserves the right to reject booking requests due to lack of operational availability or for security reasons.

PAYMENT METHODS
• Credit and debit cards.
• Domestic and international bank transfers.
• Sinpe Móvil (where applicable).
• Authorized digital payment platforms.
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) or Costa Rican colones (CRC), as applicable.
International bank fees, currency conversion charges, or additional fees charged by financial institutions are the responsibility of the customer.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days prior to the service date may be subject to administrative fees.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance are non-refundable.
No-Show Policy: If the client does not arrive at the agreed meeting point within the specified time, the reservation will be considered used and no refund will be issued.
ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
The client may request modifications subject to:
• Availability.
• Operational viability.
• Climatic conditions.
• Additional costs applicable.
AlmaTica may modify routes, schedules or activities when necessary to protect the safety of passengers or guarantee the quality of the experience.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The client agrees to:
• Provide truthful and up-to-date information.
• Arrive on time at the departure point.
• Inform the organizers in advance of any relevant medical conditions that may affect the experience.
• Comply with the instructions of the driver, guide, or authorized personnel.
• Respect all applicable laws and regulations in Costa Rica.
The client will be responsible for any damage caused to vehicles, facilities, or equipment due to negligent or intentional actions.
ALMATICA'S RESPONSIBILITY
AlmaTica is committed to:
• Providing contracted services professionally.
• Maintaining its units in safe and suitable condition.
• Operating in accordance with applicable Costa Rican regulations.
• Ensuring that published information is accurate and up-to-date.
However, AlmaTica does not guarantee the complete absence of delays, operational changes, or circumstances beyond its control.
CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
Costa Rica experiences variable weather conditions year-round.
For safety reasons, AlmaTica may:
• Modify routes.
• Adjust schedules.
• Substitute activities.
• Reschedule experiences.
These decisions will only be made when there is a reasonable risk to passengers or operational staff.
USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND CONTENT
During tours or experiences, AlmaTica may capture photographs and audiovisual material for promotional, advertising, or institutional purposes. By participating in our activities, the client authorizes the reasonable use of these images, unless they expressly communicate their refusal in writing before the start of the service. This authorization does not imply any financial compensation.
LUGGAGE AND PERSONAL ITEMS
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the entire experience. AlmaTica recommends:
• Keeping important documents with you.
• Not leaving valuables unattended.
• Labeling luggage and personal items.
AlmaTica will not be liable for loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of personal belongings except in situations directly attributable to proven negligence on the part of the company.
SAFETY AND CONDUCT
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers, the following are prohibited:
• Consuming illicit substances.
• Committing violent or discriminatory acts.
• Damaging vehicles or facilities.
• Endangering the safety of other passengers.
AlmaTica reserves the right to suspend or terminate service when conduct poses a risk to the safety, well-being, or security of others.
In these cases, no refunds will be issued.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
AlmaTica will not be liable for:
• Delays caused by traffic, road closures, or external accidents.
• Natural phenomena.
• Adverse weather conditions.
• Government decisions or official restrictions.
• Situations attributable to third-party providers.
AlmaTica's maximum liability, where legally applicable, will be limited to the amount actually paid for the contracted service.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
AlmaTica collects and uses personal information solely for the following purposes:
• Managing reservations.
• Providing customer service.
• Improving the user experience.
• Complying with legal obligations.
Information will be processed in accordance with current data protection and privacy legislation. AlmaTica will not sell or share personal information with unauthorized third parties, except when legally required or when operationally necessary for providing the service.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the AlmaTica website, social media, and materials, including:
• Logos.
• Photographs.
• Videos.
• Designs.
• Texts.
• Graphic elements.
Is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. May not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written authorization.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the current laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any controversy related to the services provided by AlmaTica will be resolved in accordance with Costa Rican legislation and submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica, unless the applicable regulations provide for a different conflict resolution mechanism.
